I had the great opportunity this weekend to spend some time at filming classes and interviewing staff at Richmond Balance for some upcoming marketing videos. Richmond Balance is a unique fitness center located in the historic Shockoe Bottom in Richmond, Virginia. A facility that offers a range of high end boutique classes and personal training, while maintaining the convenience and flexibility of a commercial gym, has cultivated an atmosphere of family and community.
The clients and staff were open and inviting as I captured footage, stills, and filmed a couple ad hoc interviews. I had no plans for starting an exercise routine, but after a couple of hours at Richmond Balance I found myself motivated to join in the unofficial dead lifts later that evening during a bbq.
